We connected him with a supplier, but the outsourced production failed to align with the strict consistency and precise specifications he expected based on the initial samples. The gap between expectation and reality was a wake-up call.
Instead of walking away, we stepped in. We were new to manufacturing, but we knew integrity mattered more than convenience. Under Igor’s strict guidance—teaching us everything from technical contracts to production protocols—we took full control of the supply chain to bridge that gap. That became our founding lesson: To guarantee standards, you must own the process.
Chapter 2 • 2016-2018
